We Honor Our Veterans

On November 11th of every year, citizens acknowledge the sacrifices that the members of our military forces have given.  Veterans Day originated as "Armistice Day" on Nov. 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I. Congress passed a resolution in 1926 for an annual observance, and Nov. 11 became a national holiday beginning in 1938.  Currently, there are more than 24 million living veterans!  We appreciate those men and women of the five military branches; Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard.  Happy Veteran's Day to all of our veterans and soldiers still serving our country.  We appreciate and honor you!

If you know a veteran or someone currently serving a tour of duty, let us know by writing in the comment section below this post or click here to comment on our Facebook page.  We would like to thank and honor them today!
