Celebrate Earth Day!

Northern Manhattan residents are invited to celebrate Earth Day on April 17th, at the YM&YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood. During the event, participants will learn how to save energy and money through green and energy-efficient techniques. There will also be workshops about how to green the home through approaches such as replacing light bulbs and using certain products and saving money on heating and cooling bills. There will also be giveaways and live entertainment!

This Earth Day Extravaganza is co-sponsored by the Go Green initiative of the Office of Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer. The event is from 11am-pm at 54 Nagle Avenue. Click here for directions. It is free to everyone.
