The Duke Boys won a game June 10 beating P.S. 145 , 22 - 14. "We put on a good show and we probably could have beat them by more but I am proud of the way that we competed." The boys were sparked by the girls on their team, T. Balfour and B. Del Orbe. "The girls showed a lot of heart and they showed a lot of toughness." Looking to the season for next year, Coach Keys thinks he has a good foundation for next year, "Next year we will be good and we will take the lessons learned from these games and apply them to next year's season."
