Students at PS4 have voted and decided that "a good attitude" is the most important thing to have in school. According to our poll results, 60% of the readers felt that a good attitude is more important that completing homework, having an emergency phone number or wearing a school uniform. According to Ms. Lennon having a good attitude, "will help you in all aspects of education." Despite the results of the poll, students should still come to school with their homework completed, in their school uniform and make sure that their emergency contact card is filled out.

State Your Opinion

Recently, Ms. White (principal of PS4) spoke to students about the importance of having an opinion.  This year, students in all grades are expected to write research reports that involve information from newspapers, websites, books and articles.  Students must also state their opinion about the topics that they write about.  One example of a topic that we all have an opinion about is 'the effects of video games on children'. Some boys and girls thought that video games were violent and had a negative effect on children.

What do you think? Do you think that video games are too violent?  Let us know. Place a comment in the section box below and vote in our newest poll question in the upper left-hand corner.
