How did America become a free and independent country? How did it go
from a colony to a country? Why did the founding fathers decide to fight
against the King of England? These are the questions that fifth
graders at our school will be answering this week during Social Studies lessons with Mr. Harris.
After learning about
European exploration of The Americas and the civilization of the prehistoric civilizations, each fifth grade class will discover the
institutions that were put into place after the American Revolution. Take a look at the documents below. Can you identify some them?
