On Thursday, more than twenty parents and guardians attended a nutrition workshop sponsored by the NYC Health Department and organized by our school's Parent Coordinator, Lucy Perez. This month's topic was 'Flavorful Fruit'. Eat Well-Play Hard Public Health Nutritionist, Mimi Wu, gave parents information on how to make fun, healthful snacks that their children will love. "PS4 parents are so enthusiastic!", said Mimi after the workshop, "I had fun." She also gave them strategies on how to deal with frustrating mealtime behaviors. Each attendee received free food and a special gift for attending the workshop.
