Each year, during the months of November and March, our school hosts a Scholastic Book Fair! Our library transforms into a bookstore where students, teachers and family members are able to purchase books, journals, pencils, and educational gifts. One of the books that many visitors were asking for is Jeff Kinney's latest Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth.Thanks to our librarian (Ms. Lennon) and her Student Crew, we raised nearly $1,400 to help purchase new sound systems for our auditorium and cafeteria. The Fair also allowed us to buy books for classroom libraries. With help from great partners in literacy, like Scholastic, PS4 students and teachers are well supported. For 90 years, Scholastic has not only provided books for children, but the company also provides resources for teachers and parents (in English and Spanish). Thank you, Scholastic, for supporting PS4!
