Despite some success from last year's championship and major contributions from returning 5th grade players Jeissy De La Cruz and Janson Luciano (class 521), the boys from P.S. 4 have lost their last two games. Playing in the P.S.4 gym the boys could not overcome the offenses from P.S. 115 and P.S. 153. Surprisingly, the biggest contributions came from two girls that were put on the team. Tenea Balfour and Nyrobi Petty, from class 502. "They played really tough and were very good at rebounding the basketball", said Coach Keys. The last game against P.S. 115 was led by Coach Dave and he even seemed to have high regards for the girls that were in that game. "They're tough." he said. "They can play". They are going to be tough to beat when they are playing other girls. Coach Keys was dissapointed but he knew that with every loss a victory is that much closer. "Whether we win or lose, these games learning experiences".
